Cumberland was once home to one of the biggest coal mining operations in BC.
‘Camp Road’ was originally built in the late 1800's as temporary housing for European coal miners.
Today a thriving community of artists, athletes and eccentrics, each house on the street has developed a unique flavour and character.
Located at the foot of our beloved Community Forest - a gateway to an extensive network of trails - you can walk, bike or drive to the beautiful vistas of Comox Lake.
Winter activities (as well as year-round mountain biking and hiking) are only 20-30 minutes away at Forbidden Plateau or Mt. Washington.

Summary: House was clean and well equipped. Super close to the mtb trail network. We reached out to Paulina for a early check in and she responded quickly and let us in eary. I would book again.
