Summary: We had a great time staying here for a week in August. The cottage had everything we needed throughout the week. The check in process was easy and Emily was great to deal with and responded quickly when we reached out with a question. The cottage and bedrooms are smaller but we were outside the majority of the time anyways. Finding places to put things was a challenge but we utilized the third bedroom for items and it worked out well. Bala is less than a 10 minute drive with cute shops, the brewery was at the end of the road and Gravenhurst was less than 30 minutes away for bigger grocery stores. The only improvement we could see was that the place needs a good cleaning and dusting, but it certainly didn’t impact our trip. This place has everything you need to relax and unwind. The small lake was refreshing and is the little beach area is perfect for kids.
