WINTER SKI Ski Fernie Alpine Resort (35 min drive), Kimberley Alpine Resort (70 min drive), Whitefish is a 1 hr, 40 min drive if you want to head into the USA for a day trip.
LOCAL SKATING Koocanusa Village has an interior lake called Crystal Lake which in the winter months can be skated on - 5 min walk to the lake or drive 2 min GUEST ACCESS During the summer months (June 20th opening day, July, August, and September), the Marina Store is open, offering basic amenities, snacks, food, ice cream, boat fuel, and a fully stocked selection of beer, wine, and spirits.
🏖️ Resident-Only Beaches within 10 min walk. Koocanusa Village offers several private beaches with access to both Koocanusa Lake and Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is a calm, interior lake perfect for non-motorized water activities.
