This is a trendy and fun neighborhood that has great walkability. There are playgrounds, parks, and coffee shops nearby. Wonderful small clothing stores that carry clothes of local designers and restaurants from various world cuisines from gourmet vegetarian to deluxe hamburger joints.
Close to Hillcrest Aquatic Centre one of the newest pools in Vancouver, in the same complex, there is an ice rink and fitness center. Queen Elizabeth Park with its marvelous gardens is within walking distance as well.
Great public transit is a short 2-block walk away.
