Located in a small town rich in history, nature and a 3 minute walk to a small beach accessing the beautiful Georgian Bay - our 4 bedroom home will be a great place to bond and create lasting memories with friends and family!
There are so many beautiful sights and fun activities to participate and enjoy with each season and even if the objective is to stay home and relax -- Comfy at the Fox will have all the comforts and necessities you will need during a short or longer stay!
Comfy at the Fox is the main unit of a single detached home.
The Main Floor
• Roomy entrance way with closet, coat rack & bench
• Living room area with 2 couches facing the covered gas fireplace, TV & French balcony overlooking the backyard
• Games table (that is extendable) & shelf with books, deck of cards & board games.
• Workspace area with a large desk & office chair
• Main Bedroom with a King size mattress, single size sofa bed and a closet
• Full bathroom with Bathtub
The Second Floor
• Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and a small balcony with partial views of Georgian Bay
• Large dining table for six that can extend for more guests
• Living Room area with a couch, chairs and 75" TV
• Master Bedroom with partial waterviews, King size bed, walk in closet and ensuite bathroom with Bathtub
• Bedroom 3 & 4 each with a double/single bunkbed and closets
• 2nd floor bathroom with Bathtub
Outdoor Space
• Comfy at the Fox's guests will have the front yard that is 25' x 30' as their private space
• During Spring 2022, we are eager & waiting for the snow to melt & will start the process of creating a relaxing outdoor space for our guests to be ready by late spring/early summer.
• Guests staying during the spring time will still have access to the covered front porch area and most of the front yard. We will not be working on the outdoor space during your stay for your privacy.
Parking
• Comfy at the Fox will have access to the left side of the driveway with ability to Tandem Park 2-3 vehicles (please message us for additional overnight parking needs)
Duplex
• This home is a well designed Duplex where there will be very minimal to no interactions with the other unit. All indoor and outdoor spaces are private and NOT shared.
Our area has quick access to year round outdoor activities and tourist attractions all while still having access to grocery stores, shops and restaurants.
Here are some things we love to enjoy in our area:
• 3 minute walk to a parkette with gazebo and small beach area where you can enjoy your day beachside or launch your paddle boat or kayak
• 3 minute walk to a large park with a big playground, baseball diamond and tennis/pickle ball courts
• 3 minute drive or 10-20min walk to larger beach areas, Rotary Park & Waterfront walking trail, Waterfront pirate themed splash pad and playground, Main Street Penetanguishene (shops, restaurants and pubs), Town Dock (boat launch), Discovery Harbour, King's Wharf Theatre and Penetanguishene Museum
• 8 minute drive to Midland where there are more big box shops and restaurants, Little Lake Park, Huronia Museum, Wye Marsh, St. Marie Among the Hurons, St Martyr's Shrine, Mountain View Ski Center and Midland Downtown area.
• 10-15 minute drive to the beautiful Awenda National Park where you can soak in nature with so many trails and tropical like beaches, Giant Tomb's Shipwreck and canoe on Kettle's Lake
• 10-15 minute drive to several Tiny Township Beaches like Balm Beach (main beach area with icecream, arcade, restaurant and near go karts), Cawaja Beach and Wahnekewaning Beach
• 8/15 minutes away from two nicely laid out and well manicured Golf Courses
• So many biking, snowmobile trails and access to boat launches and fishing areas

1. Comfy at the Fox is not a cottage in the middle of nowhere, it is a lovely home in a small town with friendly neighbours that keep to themselves. We have cottage amenities and the main town strip amenities 10-15 minute stroll.
2. There is a basement unit that has its own separate entrance and indoor/outdoor space. Comfy at the Fox is the main unit and will have the front yard with covered front porch as their private outdoor space
3. During Spring 2022, we will be in the process of creating a relaxing outdoor space for our guests. Guests will still have access to the covered front porch area and most of the front yard. We will not be working on the outdoor space during your stay for your privacy and have priced the home accordingly for Spring 2022
