This lock-off suite is a self-contained bedroom + private bathroom (no kitchen), ideal for one or two guests who want a quiet place to sleep well and recharge between work, campus time, appointments, or exploring the city. This suite is a private, lock-off bed & bath within our home. It includes a shared entry and a double-deadbolted adjoining door (kept closed when booked separately). While designed for privacy, some everyday household sound may occasionally carry, so the space is best suited for relaxed, quieter stays.

This is a hotel-style bed & bath (no kitchen or kitchenette).
To keep the space clean, simple, and well maintained, we’ve intentionally not included cooking appliances, dishware, or food prep facilities. The suite is best suited for guests who plan to dine out, order in, or enjoy the many nearby cafés and restaurants.
This is a lower-level lock-off within our home, with a shared entry to access the basement level. You’ll also notice an adjoining door near the kitchen/hallway area (shown open in some photos). When this space is booked on its own, that door remains closed and double-deadbolted.
The spaces are designed for privacy, but as outlined in the listing, some everyday household sound (footsteps, doors, coming/going) may occasionally carry—especially in the shared entry/stairwell. Because of this, the suite is best suited for relaxed, peaceful stays with quieter evenings, helping keep the experience comfortable for everyone.

Quiet Enjoyment
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- This home is best suited for quiet enjoyment, especially in the evenings. Parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted.
- Because sound can travel between spaces, we ask guests to be mindful of volume and closing doors gently, especially later in the evening.
Smoke-Free Home
- No smoking or vaping indoors.
- If you smoke outside, please use an ashtray and dispose of cigarette butts in the garbage bin.
Guests & Visitors
- Registered guests only. All overnight guests (adults, children, and infants) must be registered on the reservation.
- All visitors who are not registered are not permitted.
No Pets
Shoes & Belongings
- Please remove shoes at the top of the stairs.
- Do not bring bikes, boards, skis, or other outdoor recreational equipment inside the home.
- Please do not lean items against the faux wood wall near the entrance — it is decorative and easily damaged.
Rental Agreement & Security Deposit (if applicable)
- A standard short-term rental agreement is required and must be signed within 48 hours (or within 4 hours for last-minute bookings).
- A refundable security deposit of $75 will be required and authorized via our booking system (OwnerRez) prior to arrival.
