There are a ton of walking trails nearby. Down the hill where you came off the highway take a right at the mailboxes and follow the road around.. there is a museum and continue to a bridge. You can park there and walk a flat trail along the river both after the bridge and before.
Liquor store and convenience store with ice cream on your way back! There is a lake that you would have seen coming into the community. Nice for a walk or bring a paddleboard or kayak 45 minutes away is Manning Park. Other trails can be found on the way to Manning Park that is fabulous for photos. Go explore!
