A new 2 bedroom guest suite located on the beautiful isthmus of Oyama, Lake Country, sandwiched between two gorgeous lakes and conveniently located just off Hwy 97 between Vernon and Kelowna. Wood Lake, Kalamalka Lake and the Okanagan Rail Trail are just minutes away by foot. We have plenty of room for all your toy's and holiday accessories! Our Airbnb is fully licensed through the Municipality who inspects the suite annually to ensure it meets all safety and fire standards. We look forward to seeing you!
The space
This is a newly built suite that is part of a duplex and attached to our main house. It has its own private entrance and plenty of parking. There is a lounge/diner with a TV, WiFi and a googlehome that also controls the heating and AC. This space also incorporates a small kitchenette equipped for cooking simple meals, it has a sink, kettle, coffee maker, small fridge, microwave, induction hob, and a dishwasher NO OVEN. There are 2 separate bedrooms with queen beds The bathroom has a shower with a seat, toilet, vanity with a washing machine, and dryer for guests to use also but please bring your own detergent. There is a gazebo seating area with a view of the lake together with fire pit (Please BRING YOUR OWN WOOD) There is a BBQ outside at the gazebo. Please refer to the listing photos to see each room in detail.
Guest access
You gain access to the suite through your own private entrance which has an entry keypad for self check-in.
Other things to note
The suite is part of a duplex. Next door lives our long term tenant. There are two doors that are locked at the far end of the suite. Both doors lead to a corridor that leads to the main house. All connecting doors are locked from both sides for everyone's peace of mind. All adjoining walls are soundproofed but you may hear some sound from adjacent areas as you would experience in a hotel.
There is a flight of stairs leading to the entrance so please bear this in mind if you have difficulty negotiating stairs. There is a photo of the entrance showing the stairs for your reference.
Please park in front of the guest suite (right hand entrance) as the carport is for the neighbouring suite.
There are garbage bins outside under the stairs. The blue is for recycling. Please place rubbish in here when you leave.
The lights on the gazebo turn on automatically when it gets dark. There is no need to turn them off.
