Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed at the Comfort Cottage for 2 nights. This is budget/backpacker style accommodation. As it was low season, only 3or4 of the rooms were being used which meant it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. It is close to the Canada train line (7minute walk) which means there is easy access to the airport and Vancouver centre. It was cheap but certainly could do with an injection of funds to improved it

Negative: The decor and furnishings are old and dated. The kitchen was poor. Appliances were minimal and only one could be used at a time as they blew the power. If a few people were trying to prepare even a simple meal it would be a nightmare. There were no coffee cups. The tv in the room worked but the only thing that could be accessed was YouTube. There are no shops or restaurants/cafes nearby
