Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It was nicely designed and well located for our needs.

Negative: The communication with the hosts was a joke. They listed an emergency phone number that they never picked up - text or calls. When I arrived to the apartment, the heat wasnt working and the temp was reading at 14 degrees Celsius, in winter time. After trying to contact the host for over an hour, I got Booking involved to try to find a solution. They couldn’t even get an answer from the hosts. I spent in total over 3 hours of my day on the phone trying to get ahold of the hosts. When I finally did, they barely took the issue seriously and stopped responding to us. I had to find their other listing through Airbnb to be able to send them messages that they seem to be receiving and responding to. My mother and decided that it was going to be too stressful to move that night, so we decided to stay anyway. We asked the host to please at least bring us some space heaters while we waited for someone to come take a look at the furnace the next morning. We were ignored. By chance, we found some in one of the closets and were able to have a slightly more relaxing first night. The furnace decided to start working sometime around 2am, so we let the host know that there was no need to send anyone anymore. They never answered and STILL sent someone who was definitely not qualified. I have yet to have received an answer from the hosts. Extremely frustrating and disappointing, not to mention stressful. I am filing for a partial refund for this situation and have yet to hear back.
